Eligibility for Maldives Travel Insurance

All international travelers planning to visit the Maldives can avail the travel insurance policy for the Maldives. Under the single trip plan, the minimum age of an insured person is 1 day. There is no limit on the maximum age.

For visiting Maldives, Indian tourists do not need to obtain a visa before the start of their journey. The Government of Maldives provides on-arrival visas that can be obtained from the immigration officials at the airport.

The essential documents required for obtaining the visa entail:

There are no charges for on-arrival visas for Maldives. However, for extending the visa, Indian nationals must pay INR 3,045.
