Bali Visa for Indians

1. Short Stay Visa: This visa allows Indian travellers to stay in Bali for up to 30 days for tourism, leisure, or business purposes. Under the Bali visa free for Indians policy, eligible travellers do not need to pay any visa fee for short visits.
2. Visa on Arrival (VoA): Indian nationals planning to stay in Bali for 30 to 60 days can apply for a Visa on Arrival. The Bali visa cost for Indian travellers under VoA is approximately USD 35, and the visa can be extended for an additional 30 days through Indonesian immigration authorities.
3. Visa Extension Rules: Travellers extending their Visa on Arrival should note that the extension process must be completed before the visa expiry date. The extension fee at the Immigration Office is approximately IDR 800,000, excluding any visa agent charges.
4. Social and Cultural Visa B-211: Indian travellers visiting Bali for cultural exchange, family visits, or social activities should apply for the B-211 visa. This visa remains valid for 60 days and can be extended up to four times for 30 days each with the help of a sponsor letter.
5. Long Stay Visa: Travellers planning to stay in Bali for more than 60 days for purposes such as education, work, business, or leisure can apply for a long-stay visa. The visa duration and extension approval are regulated by Indonesian immigration services.

1. Keep a valid Indian passport with at least six months validity and two blank pages for immigration stamps and visa processing.
2. Carry proof of confirmed return flight tickets, hotel bookings, and sufficient financial documents while travelling to Bali.
3. Visit the official Indonesian immigration or embassy website to download and complete the Bali visa application form for longer stays.
4. Attach a cover letter clearly mentioning the purpose of your visit, travel duration, and visa category required for your Bali trip.
5. Submit your confirmed flight itinerary and supporting travel documents along with the visa application form during the application process.
6. If you have a sponsor in Bali, provide a valid sponsor letter as part of the visa documentation for faster approval.
7. The Bali visa for Indians online application process generally takes around 3 to 4 working days. Applicants also receive a tracking number to check their visa application status online.

In case if you have applied for an Employment visa, then some other proofs are required. They are as follows:

2. The document should be faxed to the immigration department explaining your work permit from the organization.

Apart from the tourist and employment visa, people can apply for a business visa too. It requires all the documents as listed above and a few more such as:

1. Cover letter from the organization
2. Proof of the company whether it is registered in India or not
3. A letter of invitation from a company in Bali
4. Valid travel insurance of the applicant
