Besides yourself, you can get coverage for your spouse, children, parents, parents-in-law, and grandparents. The family floater plan of Ultimate Care has an eligibility of 2A2C.

Q. What is the maximum age of entry for adults and children?

There is no maximum age bar age for adults. For children, it is 24 years (last birthday).

Q. What is not covered under the Ultimate Care plan?

Claims for drug use/misuse or abuse, self-inflicted injuries, cosmetic procedures, etc, are not covered under this plan.

Q. What is the New Born Benefit in the Ultimate Care plan?

This benefit states that if you add your newborn to the policy within 90 days of birth, the waiting period will apply as per the current policy.

Q. Can I reduce the waiting period for pre-existing diseases under Ultimate Care?

Yes, with Instant cover benefits, you can get coverage for PEDs such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Asthma, Obesity, and Coronary Artery Disease (PTCA before 1 year) after a 30-day initial waiting period. Additionally, if you want a reduction in PED other than the listed ones, you can opt for a PED wait period modification add-on as per policy terms.

The policy tenure for this plan is available up to 5 years.

Q. What is Loyalty Boost offered by Ultimate Care?

This benefit doubles the Sum Insured, given that there were no claims in the preceding seven policy years. Further, the waiting period for the new Sum Insured is waived.
